Principality of Cynagua: Winter Investiture

January 24, 2015 @ 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM

Their Highnesses of Cynagua, Prince Jost and Princess Isolte, invite you to the Investiture of Their Heirs: Lord of the Swan Bjorn Jorsalfar of Bearhaven and Lady of the Swan Hilarie the Puppeteer. Come and enjoy music and merriment, and the fellowship of Cynagua, in the comfortable Great Hall, as our glorious Prince and Princess embark upon Their next campaign and pass Their Coronets down to Their excellent and capable Heirs!

The Lord and Lady of the Swan would be most pleased if members of the populace would bring their framed scrolls to display at the Investiture Hall. I would also invite those with banners that are willing to have them hang in the hall to bring them. Just be gentle with me if I don’t hang them in order of precedence, although I am certainly willing to take direction on that count.

Entries to the Copper Spoon contest and the Black Swan Brewer’s guild contest should be at their respective tables by 1pm!

Mistress Siobhann, the Kingdom Chirurgeon, will present a short class on Medical Emergencies and Preparedness at SCA events in the Main Hall following the First Court of Bjorn and Hilarie.
Countess Zanobia will present a demonstration and class on making a honeycomb pleated apron in the Main Hall following the First Court of Bjorn and Hilarie. The materials and participants are full, but auditors are welcome.
Master Leo Diogenes will hold a Moot of the Moneyer’s Guild – location and time to be announced!
Mistress Anastasia invites the Artisans of the Principality to display their works on the A&S table by 1pm!
A “Dirty Dozen” competition will be sponsored by the Sable Swan Needleworkers. Please have your entries to the Guild table as early as possible. For further information, contact Mistress Michaela McCollum/Kim Gallagher or pay heed to any postings concerning this awesome contest.
