The Society for Creative Anachronism is a worldwide not-for-profit organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills practiced by mankind prior to 1601.

The West Kingdom encompasses Northern Nevada, Northern California, Alaska, the Pacific Rim, and Thailand.  
Alaska comprises the Principality of Oertha.  Northern Nevada, the California Central Valley & Sierras are the Principality of Cynagua.  The greater California Bay Area is the Principality of the Mists.  Northern coastal California, San Luis Obispo, the Pacific Rim, and Thailand comprise the area known as “The Marches”.
