Beloved West Kingdom,We are sure that by now many of you have now seen or heard the news that the SCA Board of Directors has extended the shutdown of in person events and meetings through the end of May 2021. We, with our Seneschal, provided comments and input on this decision. The health and safety of the populace continues to be Our number one priority when making decisions and providing counsel on this matter.We know that being separated from our SCA family and community is difficult. We miss you all and look forward to the day when we can resume events in person. We are heartened by the news of the multiple vaccines that will soon be available, but know that it will take time for distribution and for the populace to be vaccinated. We continue to support and enjoy online activities and event.Please know you are all in our thoughts. We hope you all stay safe and healthy, and have a happy holiday season.
